Day 15: Door County, Wisconsin

Our first view of Lake Michigan.  There are 5 Great Lakes; Superior, Michigan, Huron, Erie, and Ontario.  So far we have seen two of them.

Is that a goat on the roof?

YES!!  We ate lunch at Al Johnson's Swedish Restaurant and there are goats on the grass roof.  The restaurant is a traditional Swedish building that Al brought to the site and had reconstructed.  As a joke, his friend put goats on the roof to eat the grass and they've been there ever since!  Now, that's a guy with a sense of humor!

The Hardy Gallery on Anderson Dock, this art gallery was originally a warehouse.

Historically, visiting boaters have "signed" the warehouse with their boats name and year (or years) they docked here.  Now visitors do the same...

Scott is at the ticket booth of the Peninsula Players Theatre.  He bought tickets to a comedy, Miracle on South Division Street.  This playhouse has been entertaining Door County since 1935 and it was fun to watch a play in this secluded, wooded setting.
