We spent four relaxing days at Jalama Beach, absolutely gorgeous views and temperatures in the high 70s. Awesome!
View of Jalama Beach - 14 mile narrow dead-end road to area with just over 100 camping spots and a general store with the yummy Jalama burger. Gotta have a burger to complete the Jalama Beach experience! It was windy in the mornings so kite boarders would be out then and again just before dark.
Edge of trailer and our daily ocean view; we set the lawn chairs out and enjoyed!
We could see 3 oil platforms out in the ocean and all three were lit up at night.
Beach to the north...
and to the south.
Oil like tar on beach rock; there was evidence of an oil spill on the beach but we could only uncover a spill back in 1969 - don't know if what we were seeing is related to that spill or something else.
