OREGON COAST - Newport, Depoe Bay, & Lincoln City

NEWPORT

We had a wonderful meal with a view of the bridge and marina at Local Ocean.  This is
the first time we've been seated upstairs and the view was spectacular!

Devil's Punchbowl

Our favorite Mo's at Otter Rock... love the clam chowder plus we had the entire restaurant
to ourselves when we first arrived!

DEPOE BAY
Scott sunning himself (ha-ha)!

Another beautiful day on the Oregon coast!

AINSLEE'S SALTWATER TAFFY

One of our favorite stops in Depoe Bay; gotta have my salt water taffy
fix and Ainslee's is the BEST!

Just look at all the flavors and they're still made right in the shop!

Couldn't resist taking a photo of this sign in a Depoe Bay store.  Love it - must be the
kindergarten teacher in me!

OTTER CREST LOOP
Another historic Conde McCullough bridge.

CAPE FOULWEATHER

Cape Foulweather was named by Captain James Cook in 1778,
the weather was particularly stormy that day and 100 mile per hour
winds are not unusual!

Look-Out Observatory at Cape Foulweather.

LINCOLN CITY

We've been by this statue of Abraham Lincoln many times but never stopped to take a
photo.  I like how he's depicted as a reader...

SUNSET AT ROADS END BEACH

NETARTS
Seals sunning themselves on a Netarts Bay sandbar!

The end of another beautiful day and our last on this visit.
